    Most people feel that getting a home loan with an ITIN number or DACA status is a challenge, but it is much easier than you think. Some of the most frequently asked questions from people with the same unique situation can be found below.

    1Who can qualify under the ITIN/DACA loan program?
    Borrowers seeking to qualify for this program will need an unexpired Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), reside and work in the United States and possess an unexpired U.S. government issued photo ID (ID card, drivers license, etc.).
    2What types of financial documentation of required?
    If you receive a W2 from your employer, you can qualify for our full doc program. If you are self-employed, you can qualify for our alternate doc program with business or personal bank statements.
    3What is the minimum and maximum loan amount available?
    For the ITIN/DACA program, the mininum loan amount is $150,000 and the maximum is $1,500,000.
    4I already own a home, can I buy a second property or an investment property to rent?
    Yes, under this loan program, you can purchase a second home or investment property. There are also a variety of eligible property types, like single family homes, planned urban development, condos, town-homes, 2-4 unit properties and more.
    5Can I refinance and cash-out?
    Yes, you can refinance and cash out as you normally would do under a traditional refinance transaction. A borrower would still need to have satisfactory collateral, and credit, and still, need to qualify under the debt-to-income ratios of the loan program to cash out. Cash-out can be used to meet reserve requirements.
    6Can gift funds be used?
    Gift funds are allowed. A minimum of 5% contribution from your own funds are required for primary residence and 10% for second home and investment properties.
